The Australian Hotel’s family-friendly restaurant is a key dining spot for the Gympie community, featuring delicious food and a relaxed atmosphere.

Seating 40 plus in our dining area, up to 100 on our large deck and up to 80 upstairs at our famous Room 5 there is plenty of space for everyone. The restaurant is open 7 days a week, providing All Day Dining and takeaway from 11am-8:30pm.

Our lunch and dinner menu features locally sourced products wherever possible. Our restaurant offers daily specials, gluten-free and vegetarian options as well as a kid's menu.

As seating is limited, particularly for bigger groups, call ahead to reserve your table. If the bar doesn’t have the right wine for you, you might find it in our on-site bottle shop, so you can enjoy it with dinner for NO CORKAGE FEE!

We can seat up to 100 patrons on our fairy light-decorated deck or accommodate casual family gatherings or work groups of 40 plus people inside the restaurant, as well as up to 80 people upstairs at our famous ROOM 5! This makes the Aussie a great place to hold all types of functions. Eg. Anniversaries, Birthdays, Special Milestones, Work functions and various other social activities.

Order straight from the restaurant menu, pre-arrange platters of finger food, desserts and foods to meet specific dietary needs. Round out the event by saving the drive home, book a night in our second-floor accommodation.
